Hi VA-Birders,
Make plans now to attend the winter VSO field trip to the Outer Banks, to be
held February 5-7, 2010, at The Comfort Inn (formerly Clarion Inn) in Kill
Devil Hills. Bill Akers and Jerry Via will be our field trip leaders, kicking
off the week-end with an overview session Friday evening at 8:30 PM.
NEW this year! A FREE complimentary breakfast buffet is included with your
lodging.
Brian Patteson has offered to run a special pelagic trip again this year for
VSO members on Friday, February 5. There is a fee of $150 for this trip.
There is NO registration fee to attend the rest of the weekend, which is open
to VSO members and non-members alike. Be sure to make your hotel reservation by
JANUARY 16 to get the special VSO rate, and mention the VSO when you call the
hotel.
