Yesterday morning around 10 o'clock, I saw an adult Bald Eagle fly over my house (in Sleepy Hollow) at tree level. This was the second sighting in a week.

Bill-

You are right - I wrote too fast using the word "populated" - poor choice of
words - I am aware of nests along major roads here and elsewhere.  This nest
is in a back yard in a housing development (two small houses per acre)
surrounded by other housing developments.  The lot size of each of the homes
is around 15,000 sf.  Given the site, I think it pretty unusual.  Hopefully,
they will not be spooked.  Apparently some nesting Bald Eagle will tolerate
human activity especially if it was there before the nesting activity.
Also, it was suggested to me that these may be younger adults who have had
to seek less attractive or different nest sites as the better ones like near
the Potomac are taken by older and more aggressive adults.
