"My" bluebirds have not returned to the box since the 3rd clutch hatched in
August. However, they do return every winter and hang around and keep checking
on the box. I know they do use boxes for winter shelter, but have not seen
them do so in this box. One way I get to enjoy them in the winter is by
putting raisins out in the feeder I use for their mealworms in the breeding
months. They eat lots of raisins!
