I found nine species of sparrows between 8-9 AM this morning at Blandy Experimental Farm in Clarke County, VA. Most were in the Rattlesnake Spring area: Eastern Towhee, Chipping, Field, Savannah, Song, Lincoln, Swamp, White-throated, and White-Crowned Sparrows. Not too many warblers - a handful of Tennessees and a single Magnolia. Other notables included Cooper's Hawk, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and Eastern Meadowlarks.
