Who put that nesting platform up to begin with? National Park Service? Does
the Friends of Dyke Marsh group have any involvement? Seems like the best
people for the job would be the ones who have done it before, or at least to
get advice/instructions from them as whoever does work on it would have to make
sure the pole is well-secured in the river bed there.
I feel bad for those osprey too. I swear they make an extra effort to be the
first ones back to the area so they can use "their" platform.

I don't own a boat but I can offer my time to see if we can move the
platform, fix the pole or find alternative solution.
It breaks my heart to see the platform leaning in such a way it would most
likely not allow him and his mate to raise another successful nest of young
Osprey.
