Bob and all,

I should have reported in my post of Wednesday that John Pratt & I observed this bird at the same place you did on Tuesday, so it appears to have found at least a temporary home. I assume that it an escapee snf I did not include it in my e-bird report, hence I forgot about it.

On Friday I observed a GRAYLAG GOOSE in bay opposite the observation platform. You can use the mounted scope to find the bird in water to the right, but I think your binoculars or spotting scope would be better. I tried to post a note yesterday but it did not seem to work, Apologies if this becomes a second post. Occoquan Bay is in Woodbridge VA .
