They come to my thistle feeder this time of year for a few weeks. They commonly feed very late in the evening just before dark.

Question for everyone....

I had an INDIGO BUNTING on one of my feeders last Monday when it was raining. He was gorgeous, but he disappeared. I haven't seen him since. Is there a special kind of food or seed that I should be putting out to draw these? I have the same birds all the time and would love to have some of the special ones that everyone keeps having visit them.

Thanks in advance.

Barbara
