I just returned from a long walk in the forest with the boys. As we neared
the vehicle, Marlin spotted a male, American Redstart. Now that I am back
home I see a note about feeding indigo buntings hulled sunflower seeds.
That makes me wonder if there is a food that attracts redstarts.
I'm glad for the tip concerning the indigo buntings. They nest along our
driveway and we would enjoy attracting them to our feeding station.
