Hi folks,
I have received a couple (maybe 3?) eBird alerts this summer, including one
today, saying there is a Mute Swan at Hunting Creek Bridge in Alexandria. The
outflow of the creek straddles the border of Fairfax County and the City of
Alexandria.
I've been birding there almost every day this summer, and naturally there is
always the possibility that a Mute Swan flew in, but I would like to gently
suggest that it most likely is the continuing Tundra Swan that these folks have
been seeing.
I don't know if those folks read this list, but I just wanted to put my two
cents in.
