Arrive any night by 7:45 and you can watch the birds come in if you can't
make it to the festival. There are usually plenty of people there watching
or attempting to count. The birds are there through about Sept. 1 every
year. Tonight I estimated 2500-3000 birds (still honing my rusty skills on
my second visit this year). The sight and sound is very sweet after a
year's absence!
