Subject: [Va-bird] White Throated Sparrow in Roanoke

10/18/08?

Each year when we lived in Atlanta we vigilantly paid attention to the arrival
date and departure date of the White Throated Sparrow, one of our favorite
songsters. Well, they finally arrived in our yard in Roanoke yesterday. One and
a solitary song sparrow were seen amongst the ever present English Sparrows
feeding under our back yard feeder.?

All is right with the world.?
