I was with Marc when the clay-colored sparrow showed up. I left to scout out
Julie Metz Wetland -- so I missed the Lincoln's. Relatively low numbers at
Julie Metz -- with duck hunters just off in the marsh. Good diversity. Brown
Thrasher, 3 hermit thrushes, 3 towhees, two red shouldered hawks, and the usual
sparrows.

Subject: [Va-bird] clay-colored sparrow
The clay-colored sparrow along Blackburn Rd. in Woodbridge showed well this
morning just below the parking area. I also managed (finally) to see the
Lincoln’s sparrow that had been reported in the area. There are a lot of
sparrows all along the road. Also seen were white-crowned sparrow, towhee,
brown creeper, both kinglets, and red-shouldered hawk.
