White blinds or white curtains are very helpful in preventing window
kills. I haven't had ANY kills or hits since I started using these window
treatments about a year or more ago. I highly recommend them.
Sincerely,

We awoke this morning to find a Swainson's Thrush on our deck, a victim of
a window strike. The window had a hawk cut-out on it, to no avail. On a
brighter note, we later saw a Winter Wren flitting around near the ground.
Joyce thought she had seen one earlier in the week.
