One reason this could happen is if you report a va-bird post as spam to
your provider. Apparently people make that mistake sometimes; I've seen
warnings from list moderators against doing that. Hope this is helpful.

Va-bird-owner,
Starting about two weeks or so ago, about 30% of the va-bird posts I have
received have been filtered as junk mail by my email provider MSN Mail;
including posts by regular contributors whose email addresses have been in my
safe list for years. I don't know if this is due to a recent change by MSN,
or whether someone is actively flagging va-bird posts as junk mail. I am
more concerned by the latter possibility; as some email providers will block
known junk mail at their servers; neither the intended recipients nor the
sender will know it was blocked. Has anyone else reported this problem?
Thanks,
Scott
