Bruce Richardson birded White Oak Mtn. WMA this weekend and found a Vesper
Sparrow. I thankfully found it again today(life bird for me) ! As you come
into the WMA, it was in a tree on the side of the road between the entrance to
the WMA/Shotgun Rd. and the manager's house...Bruce found it in a field in the
same location.
I've had a pair of Horned Larks in the field beside my house (on Dry Fork Rd.)
twice in the last week. Also, found a Raven on top of a light pole at Ballou
Park Shopping Center in Danville Saturday.
