To all,
Today I went out to Veterans Memorial Regional Park today despite the poor
weather predictions. I was glad I went and the weather held up. I caught a
lifer which was the White-eyed Vireo. I spotted it heading back to its nest.
I got one of my favorite photos of it on the nest. I also found an active
Kingbird nest. I was surprised at the number of species I got today and did
not realize the extent of the list unitl just now. No Bachman's Warbler. I
will try to go to areas around Ft. Belvior in a couple of weeks to search
then.
