I had a visit to New Orleans last week and was able to bird a couple of
mornings at Bayou Sauvage and take quite a few photos. I got some shots of King
Rail, breeding plumage Cattle Egret, Anhinga, Gull-billed Tern, Black-bellied
Whistling-duck, Snowy Egret and others including a mystery bird that looks a
lot like a female Scarlet Tanager (but is highly unlikely) so I am guessing
immature female Summer T maybe.
