I will be visiting northern Virginia in two weeks and would like to request
help in locating some target birds. I will be staying in the Reston area and
plan to bird Great Falls Park. I will also be at Dickey Ridge in Shenandoah
National Park near Front Royal (for my son's wedding!).
I hope to see the following:
Warbling Vireo
Cerulean Warbler
Canada Warbler
Mourning Warbler
Kentucky Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
Ovenbird
Hairy Woodpecker
Dickcissel
Ruffed Grouse
If anyone can offer specific locations to look for any of these target birds, I
would really appreciate it.
