Vote for bird conservation on Facebook
The Center for Conservation Biology, Inc. has entered the Chase Community
Giving program to raise money for bird conservation. Through this program,
Chase will distribute more than 3 million dollars to the 100 charities
receiving the most votes on Facebook. This is an incredible opportunity to use
social media to raise money for birds. Voting will end in just 10 days on 22
November. Please take the time to cast a vote for birds.
The Center for Conservation Biology, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated
to the health of bird populations on a global scale. As an all-volunteer
organization all funds raised will be used to support bird projects that are
critical but have proven difficult to fund through conventional grant programs.
Example projects include an assessment of black rail population declines
throughout eastern North America, the movement ecology of solitary crowned
eagles in Argentina, and the conservation of bald eagles in the Chesapeake Bay,
