I had good looks at a Western Kingbird this a.m. in the top of a tall pine tree
at the intersection of rte 340 and Hermitage Blvd. This location is 2 blocks
south of Main St. The yellow flanks and tail coverts were seen clearly beneath
the grey back and dark bill.
Note last year a Western Kingbird hung around for a few days in Harpers Ferry
WV, 8 miles north of here.
