Hello all,
Jim Elder and myself went to see the Western Tanager that has been visiting
the home of Katie and Bill James. We got there about 3PM and we finally saw
it about an hour later. What a beautiful bird. We saw about 10 species of birds
while watching the feeders. Another highlight was a Hairy Woodpecker. The
Tanager flew in to the feeder then dropped underneath the suet and picked a
big piece of suet that dropped and flew off.
