Yesterday afternoon at about 3pm five white pelicans flew north along the beach
at the Back Bay NWR, turning inland just north of the refuge. These birds were
seen by at least two separate observers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are on
a lake somewhere in Virginia Beach today.
