Hi All-
Several of you have written to ask me whether the White-winged Dove that
appeared in my yard yesterday is still here. I wish I could tell you. I work,
so will not see my yard in daylight again until Thursday.
When I saw the bird yesterday (around 1:00 pm), I photographed it and it left
shortly thereafter. I did not see it the rest of the day although I checked
pretty regularly. (The Painted Bunting fed regularly throughout the afternoon).
If anyone else would like to take a look, you'd be welcome to check my back
yard. If you'd like my address, please drop me an e-mail and I'll get back to
you.
What an amazing day yesterday was!!!! Once in a lifetime; my holiday wish to
everyone is that you get the same experience at least once!
