An afternoon visit to Mason Neck proved quite fruitful. Although quite a
few of the birds were nearer the other side of the bay, the weather was so
calm that it was possible to view them at 60 power so identification was
possible. There were probably more land birds around but I concentrated
mainly on the bay.
