I forgot who posted the link to David Sibley's trick of putting highlighter
on windows, but I really would like to thank you!
My feeders are opposite the storm door, and I have had a lot of Goldfinches
hitting the door. 3 have died as a result (in 3 days). Apparently it's
something to do with the light having shifted. I tried the highlighter on
Sat. morning and haven't had a bird strike since. I put it on the inside, so
it won't wash off and drew it in a grid pattern with squares being about 2".
