We recorded our first GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS on October 11th, the first
DARK-EYED JUNCO this past Sunday and I heard the first WHITE-THROATED SPARROW
singing this morning. We had our first frost on Sunday and it hit again on
Monday morning. All we need is a hermit thrush to make it officially winter
in Gum Spring!
