On Friday, 9/29/17 we were kayaking on Bull Run. About 1 mile above the Bull
Run Marina and continuing upstream for another mile or so, we followed a
flock of Wood Ducks.
They only allowed us to get about 100 yards near them before flying forward
and resettling.
Finally, they landed in a sunny area and we were able to identify them
clearly and count them. There were 14 ducks - 4 females and 10 males.
