A group of four of us observed a Yellow-throated Warbler on our Saturday
morning bird walk at Dyke Marsh. The single bird was seen very near the rest
rooms at Belle Haven Marina, which was a particularly birdy area for a short
time around 9 a.m.. Also notable were many Forster's Terns (many juvenile),
a lone Warbling Vireo in the same area as the YT Warbler, 3 Pie-billed
Grebes, and 2 adult Bald Eagles. Osprey were very numerous, and my count of
18 is probably very conservative.
