Comments: All raptors except COHA we’re moving south. Wet areas were
very wet. Tons of sparrows since last visit. Waterfowl except geese were in
pond. Gorgeous clear afternoon in the sixties with gusty winds.

Black-billed Cuckoo (Coccyzus erythropthalmus) 1 Nice! Flushed from a
thicket near the creek showing no rufous in wings and no showy tail spots
of yellow billed. Than perched for a nice long minute above the creek at
eye level right in the open showing an all black bill. One of the best
looks I have had in a while. Alas no camera since I came here straight from
work. First eBird record for the park.
