here in great falls we have had al least 40 juncos at our feeders,
both on the ground and hanging on to the thistle feeders - all day
yesterday with the snow coming down, and all day today - also lots of
goldfinches, house finches, white throats, several cowbirds , titmouse
and only a few chickadees - and our resident carolina wrens - no
squirrels - i saw one on top of a house on a tree where it lives near
a window but it didn't venture down at all - just licked snow of its
