Hello,
A few of you know that after living in the DC area for many
years I am finally moving away to begin a career change. I'm visiting
family for a few weeks and then I will move to Cape Cod for an 11
month position with AmeriCorps where I would like to learn more about
habitat management. It's the beginning of a long overdue career change but
better late than never!
The bird list for Sky Meadows SP should be published fairly soon. If you
entered data in ebird or posted it to Va-bird then I thank you. The last one
was created over 10 years ago. I also hope to finish updating the butterfly
list for Sky
Meadows this year.
It's been a pleasure to share
knowledge and get to know many of you through correspondence and during various
bird outings over the years. I will still visit occasionally. Good birding to
you all.
