VA Birders,
I received today a second hand report of a Snowy Owl sitting atop a
light pole at Dulles Airport yesterday. The report was submitted to the
Voice of the Naturalist yesterday, January 23. I am assuming this was
seen by someone who was visiting the airport and not an employee who had
access to closed off areas, but I don't know that for sure. I don't
have any other info but if anyone is in that area, take a look around!
