I had our first solitary sandpiper for the Flint
Hill campus on Friday 4/12. It was along the edge
of the drainage pond. 1 Palm warbler and 4
savannah sparrows are also still around in that
same area. Was out today with students looking at
amphibians and flowers in misc. places in Fairfax
Co, so didn't spend much time looking at birds.
Gnatcatchers were everywhere.
