Howdy
This afternoon I was out at Burke Lake with my Field Natural History and
Ornithology class and was surprised to find my first Fairfax County Surf
Scoters. Other highlights were a handsome group of 14 hooded mergansers and an
adult bald eagle. A huge mixed flock of crows streamed overhead. The complete
ebird list is below. We viewed from the marina.
