Spent a birdy morning at Leesylvania with Marc Ribaudo and Kurt Gaskill. We had
both Cuckoos. I saw/heard 11 species of warbler, including Cape May and
Bay-breasted, both males. Marc heard more species that were beyond my poor
hearing.
Cedar Waxwings were everywhere, I counted 75 without trying, I suspect there
were many more. We also had Gray-cheeked, Swainson's and Wood Thrushes. There
were also many Eastern Kingbirds (10) for the park. A late Ruby-crowned Kinglet
was a pleasant surprise.
