I spent a pleasant morning at the Occoquan Bay refuge, if a bit nippy to start.
Highlights were a brilliantly colored Blue-headed Vireo, 6 species of sparrows
(was hoping for more), Winter Wren, and a couple of possible late departers
(Tree Swallow, Catbird).
