Hey all, Elisa Enders and I walked the Noland Trail of Mariner's Museum Park in
Newport News today. We had 15 warbler species, highlighted by a single
Tennessee Warbler, single Chestnut-sided, a couple of Black-throated Greens and
Magnolias, my first Yellow-Rumped Warblers of the season, a Yellow-breasted
Chat, and good numbers of Black-throated Blues (14) and No. Parulas (27).
Other notable birds included a Red-breasted Nuthatch, 2 Blue-headed Vireos (one
seen singing in the pm), a Red-headed Woodpecker, and a Pied-billed Grebe.
