All,
In the mist and drizzle I was surprised to find forty-seven glossy ibis at
Dameron Marsh NAP (seven miles north of Kilmarnock) this afternoon, feeding
in the very wet fields next to the entrance to the preserve. There were also
thirty or so willets, more than a hundred yellowlegs (about 60/40
greater/lesser), a few dowitcher sp., some blue-winged and green-winged teal
and hundreds of laughing and ring-billed gulls.
