A beautiful morning at Leesylania. Not mega-activity, but a nice mix of
birds. I had 15 warbler species and 65 species in all, from 6:30am to
11:00am. Highlight was a yellow-bellied flycatcher along the road across
from the wetland. I had great, extended looks as it fed at about eye-level.
Other notable species were 4 black-throated green warblers on the hill below
the ruins, prothonotary, worm-eating and yellow-throated warblers in the
picnic area near the small pond, a wood thrush in the overflow parking area,
and hooded warbler in the wetland. The complete list is below.
