Hi All,

I was just going through my recent tutorial on creating a backup of the
Microsoft outlook address book today and saw that I had made a few errors in
it. I have now revised it and am putting it out on the list again for your
reference. Please delete the previous tutorial on backing up the Microsoft
outlook contacts tutorial I sent out.

This short tutorial is to help you back up all your email addresses which
are
contained within your contacts folder if your are a Microsoft Outlook user.
This is not the same as Outlook Express so this is only for people using
Microsoft Outlook.

1. While in the "inbox" of outlook go to the file menu with "alt + F".

2. Arrow down to "Import and Export" then press enter key.

3. Now choose export to a file then tab to the next button.

4. Press the up arrow in the list and choose, . Export to excel 97 2003.

5. A list of all available folders comes up with the inbox being the first
one. from this list choose "contacts" and tab key to next button then press
enter.

6. Now give the contacts list a filename such as addresses.xls and tab to
next.

7. On the next screen tab to the finish buttonand press enter key.

You should have a file in your My Documents folder called "Addresses". This
file can be opened up using Microsoft Excel. You can add new email addresses
etc into it via excel should you wish too.

Now you're done.
