I suspect the above statement is the source of your problem. Did your
copy of JAWS 10 come on floppy disks? LOL! Why don't you apply for a
long overdue new free PC from the NCBI? Ring the Cork office, ask for
Brian Manning, and mention the Assistive Technology Grant. He'll give
you all sorts of excuses about budgets, waiting lists, and how the
woman who processes claims is on maternity leave or some such, but if
you listen carefully, you won't hear him actually say no. So stick to
your guns and be patient.
