Sorry and thanks to you Eleanor and Joan Ann, 'escape' did indeed do it for me,
what a relief.

    Evening Joan Ann,

Okay I see that now but now my next problem!

The help file in Kurzweil is open thus not allowing me to do as you propose
so how can I close it please?

The usual stroke of F4 or alt F4 doesn't do it for me.

    Cheers,

    Tony

      Hi Tony

It would be easier if you opened the PDF document while in Kurzweil.

press control and O to open the file

Shift tab once to get to the list of folders and backspace twice to get
to the my documents folder.

Now tab and you will see a list of files in the my documents folder and
choose the one that you want to read and press enter.

      This should work for you.

      Joan Ann.

      Afternoon all,

How can I read aPDF document in My Documents using Kurzweil?

I open up Kurzweil and hit the start menu but Jaws takes over.

      Best,

      Tony Sweeney
