Hi All,

The following are guidelines to perform a simple search for a phone number
on the Eircom Phone Book which is available to us on-line.

1. When you have the Internet opened up on screen you highlight the address
bar with the shortcut keys Alt and D.

2. Type or paste in the following address:
http://www.eircomphonebook.ie/

3. You are now presented with two edit boxes: (you can get to these edit
boxes by pressing the letter e)
The first one is "who are you looking for?" You must press enter or spacebar
to activate forms mode which will then allow you to type into these boxes.
Here you just type in the name of the person or business you are searching
for.

The second edit box which you can get to now by using your tab key is
"Where?" As forms mode is still activated you can now just simply type in
the town or county of the person or business you are searching for.

4. Now tab again and you will here "Find button". I would suggest that you
tab once more before starting your search so that you pick the correct
category for your search which is either business or residential. This
choice is presented to you by two radio buttons and you just simple arrow up
or down to select the one you require. Having select this you now must
shift tab back to the "Find button" and by either entering or pressing
spacebar your search will commence.

5. The results will come up quite quickly and the easiest way of finding
them is by using the find facility. To do this use the shortcut keys
Control F and type in the word results and press enter. This will jump you
to your search results on the page and then just down arrow to read them
all.

Best of luck,

Loretta.

Hello Noreen,
I came across a great website which allows you to listen to internet radio.
this website also has a program which allows you to listen to BBC archives.
it is important to download a player, I use (real alternative)
you will find this particular player at:
www.whitestick.co.uk it is a very small program.

getting back to the website that I was talking about which allows you to
listen to internet radio is,
