Yes. You can get Facebook from the App Store that way.
Have you been on Facebook on your computer? If so, you sign in on the iPhone
(for the first time) much as you do there, with your username and password:
and you can then elect to have your iPhone remember your password for
Facebook every time after that, so you won't have to type it in.
If you've never been on Facebook before you go in there on your iPhone, then
I don't know how it goes on from the very start, i.e., how you set yourself
up on Facebook with it. (I had done it on my PC. I was required to sole a
CAPTCHA. (The Firefox addin Webvisum either hadn't been invented then or it
didn't work.)
The iPhone Facebook interface is less cluttered than the standard Facebook
on the PC; and has usually been less complicated to get around. Generally,
it's a more pleasant experience there, IMHO.
