The below maybe of interest to some members on the list.
Hi all
It is that time of the year again when the VICS committee take to the road
to give our members the opportunity to have one to one training in the use
of popular software/devices.
The location this time is Galway and the date is Saturday the 1st of
October. The venue for the day has not yet been finalized.
We will begin at 11:00 and finish at 3:30.
We can offer training in a number of areas such as IPhone/IPod and iTunes,
talks on the mobile phone, MS word, e-mail, Internet, Jaws and NVDA.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn new skills and share
information with other users of assistive technology. It is also a good way
to meet with other VICS members.
If you would be interested in attending this training day, please contact me
as soon as possible as numbers are limited.
