Hi All, I just got a little tip from a friend on how to read through a document quickly. Firstly you will have to uncheck the shortcut for sticky Keys and to do this just complete the following: 1. Press your Windows or Start Key. 2. Press the letter S for Settings. 3. Right arrow here into Control Panel and Enter. 4. Then you will hear "accessibility Options" not selected and press your spacebar and then the Enter Key. 5. You will be on the Keyboard Tab and now tab to the "Sticky Keys Settings Button" and press spacebar on this. 6. You will hear it telling you that the shortcut for Sticky keys is to press the Shift key five times. You must press the space bar to uncheck this and then tab to OK and enter. 7. Now tab to the Apply button and press the spacebar on this and then Enter on OK. 8. Alt and F4 now to close off the Control Panel and return back to the Desk Top You are now ready to use the Shift key to assist you to navigate through a document so open a file of your choice and try the following: 1. Use the JAWS (Insert or 0 key on the number pad) in conjunction with the number 2 on the number pad or as we call it the "Say All. 2. When JAWS begins to read all for us you can press the right shift key and it will jump you on to the next sentence. Alternatively if you press the left shift key it will jump you back to the previous sentence. So you can press the right Shift key as many times as you wish to jump forward from sentence to sentence or the left Shift key to jump back through previous sentences. Have a go and you may find it handy if you ever wish to read through a document quickly. Regards, Loretta -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users.
