First let's look at the cookies declaration. Cookies are used normally to
keep track of where you look for information so that the browser can target
searches to come up with your possible favourites. They also provide user
information for the program manufacturers. There is usually a declaration of
why they want to keep cookies. That information will make it clear exactly
why they want to do it in this case. It is your choice to agree and will not
negatively affect performance.
The failure of the log on could have any number of causes. If you are
absolutely certain that you do not have lower case letters where you should
have capitals and vice versa or if you are sure the caps log is not on, then
I would suggest you phone the college, if you can, or send their support
line an email.
It is very possible that a breakdown on their side would make it necessary
to set a new password. Can you try "forgot my password" and see what
happens?

Hi all .I'm trying to log into a college student page using a user name and
password. I'm trying it on a laptop running windows 10 and jaws 17 and have
even tried with my phone but i keep getting an error message saying invalid
log in details. I know that i'm putting the right information in. Now last
week there was some sort of virus on their system could this be causing my
problems. Plus both on the computer and phone its saying to enable cookies
in the browser can someone explain what this means.
