hey Tony.
the purpose of predictive texts are to save you the bother of going through a
word to spell it, the phone is guessing what word you are trying to write, for
example : If you are trying to write the word phone by pressing 7, 4,6,6,3
once should get you the word, also if you want to change any letters you
have written pressing star changes this. predictive texts is meant to be a
quick way to text.

Don't use 'predictive text but just came across 'the dictionary today and was

pressing the hash key twice does indeed turn on predictive text, it saves
you the bother of having to go in to settings to turn on off predictive text.

Hi All,
I'm a bit baffled!
I am wondering about the dictionary in 'writing messages.
Now when I activate the dictionary option by pressing the hash key twice
I proceed to write but it is resulting in "jibberish" not the letters I'm
writing at all!
Could someone explain please about the dictionary and how to
successfully manage it?
Now I am fairly sure that it has nothing to do with 'predictive text as
that feature is in settings.
I am currently using the E65!
