i'm guessing the answer to that question is yes, I recently bought a
nokia e50 and talks was successfully put on it. however, don't know if
you
know this but if you buy the e50 you need to get it unlocked before talks
can be installed

Apologies for the cross posting, but I want to get this information to

Vodafone have today, suspended all sales of the Speaking Nokia E50
phones
with immediate effect.
This suspension has arisen following discovery that the Eloquence
speech
engine was not being installed on the Vodafone issued handsets.
Vodafone
were not supplied with this speech engine and now have to re-negotiate
their
contract with Nuance before they can distribute it.
So for now at least, the E50 is off the shelves.
