Apologies for the cross posting, but I want to get this information to as
many people as possible.
Vodafone have today, suspended all sales of the Speaking Nokia E50 phones
with immediate effect.
This suspension has arisen following discovery that the Eloquence speech
engine was not being installed on the Vodafone issued handsets. Vodafone
were not supplied with this speech engine and now have to re-negotiate their
contract with Nuance before they can distribute it.
So for now at least, the E50 is off the shelves.
